Message from Lucia Lombardi at QUB:

On 1st October 2025, we kicked off our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion series!
We started with the amazing Jo McParland from Cara-Friend, who led a session on gender diversity. Jo helped us understand the meaning behind the words we use every day and how to choose them thoughtfully to show respect for everyone. The training was insightful, engaging, and even fun – and Jo was simply fantastic! We hope to run this event again next year.
