Gill Campbell My Boxing Journey

This year I wanted to really challenge myself and have a go at Riff Raff Ladies Boxing. I knew it would be all consuming but I still underestimated just how exciting and completely terrorfying the actual fighting was going to be.  I am way out of my comfort zone on this one but I feel that this is a real big moment in my life. A test of character that I just have to pass. I've absolutely loved getting fit and meeting new friends but the act of actually punching and being punched has been the challenging bit. You could say I'm a lover not a fighter and in many ways that's true but I always fight for what I believe in and to be part of this is to help out three Mancunian Families on behalf of the Riff Raff Society which is a real  thrill.
