As members of the Ethiopian and Rastafarian communities in Bristol and Bath, we are trying to run 905km between us - the distance from Addis Ababa to Adwa - to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Ethiopian victory against colonisation at Adwa. We are raising funds to support Friends of Fairfield House who are working to preserve and maintain the legacy of Emperor Haile Selassie, who gave Fairfield House as a gift to the people of Bath.
Thanks for organising the running group. Hope you reach your funding target
Thank you Fiseha for organising this event. Special thanks to Birhan for the support and encouragement for this cause and finishing 100km. Well done Mulu as well!👏 From, Sara and Mark
Dear Berhan, you have always been a heroine, you can initiate and you can complete, you are a resilient character, a fighter for your country. It is a great opportunity to join you. Betty
