Rachael's Bath Half Marathon

Hello all, I'm running the Bath Half Marathon on March 12th and in the process trying to raise some money for the wonderful First Steps Children's Centres in Bath. Working as a health visitor in the area, I've seen the amazing work that First Steps does, running two Sure Start Children's Centres, three nurseries and a range of group and individual services for families. Like me they're based in Twerton and the area we cover has parts which are among the 20% most disadvantaged in the country, which probably isn't what you expect when you hear the city of Bath mentioned. First Steps provides services for over a thousand young children and their families every year and help with children's language development, behaviour and relationship skills, and support families with the challenges of parenting young children, giving families the best start in life at the time they need it the most. So please dig deep and donate what you can! I am not a natural born runner (although I get up for Last Orders pretty quick) and this is not something I will enjoy! Lots of love, Rachael
