Hello / Shwmae everyone.
I am running the Newport Half marathon and I hope to raise a little bit for Cardiff Foodbank where I am starting to volunteer. If you could help me out by sparing a couple of quid, that would be excellent.
Cardiff foodbank rely on donations from the public and grants. Their costs are very high and they have just a handful of permanent staff and rely on volunteers. In 2018/19 financial year, 13,248 three day emergency food supplies were provided to local people in crisis by Cardiff Foodbank - of this number 5041 (38%) went to children. So many people are living below the poverty line and rely on the foodbank
The foodbank need donations like yours to pay warehouse items, rent costs, fuel for the vans that deliver and running the office. Please consider giving what you can and I will run as fast as i can.
