This June I will be doing 1/3 of a triathlon (the running bit) to raise money for The Reasons Why Foundation. As I'm sure all of you know I am not a big 'fitness' person; I  find running a bit dull and have recently been struggling to control my asthma. I have, however, decided to overcome these personal hurdles for a truly great cause.
The RWF works with current and ex-offenders, offering mentoring to people as they leave the criminal justice system and try to restart their lives. Leaving prison can be incredibly difficult and the stigma (no matter your crime) is huge. Without help people often get stuck in a cycle of re-offending, unable to see a way out. This is where The RWF comes in. Despite its size The RWF has an incredible track record in providing life-changing support to people who are so often overlooked by society at large.
As a small organisation working in a difficult area funding can be difficult to come by, so please do give as much as you possibly can. If you’re interested in supporting The RWF long-term by giving a small monthly donation (as little as £3) please get in touch and I can tell you how!
