Our lovely friends Sheryl and James Carty have invited us to run the Milton Keynes Marathon Relay on Monday 1st May 2017, as part of James' '17 in 17' bid to raise money for The Redway School. We've got 3 fabulous teams who are all committed to supporting this wonderful school and help James reach his target. The Redway School, is an extra special school that serves the community of Milton Keynes by providing specialist education, therapy and support to children with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Team 2 (pictured) share their thoughts on why they are undertaking the relay for the school:
Cheryl: My daughter Jasmine has been going to the school since she was 3 years old. She's now 15 and by being at the school has had the best support to help her reach her full potential. The school is a one stop shop for all their education and therapy needs including an amazing hydrotherapy pool that Jasmine absolutely loves! The equipment and activities they provide the children do not come cheap and any support we can give to assist in the funding we're there! Any donation no matter how small would be great. Thank you for your support.
Emma: I had the pleasure of supporting the Carty's many moons ago and want to run to support a local school who provide so much support to so many families like the Carty's.
Tara: I am very supportive of this school and the positive impact it obviously has. There are so many good causes to support and pleased to be able to support one with a personal connection so hope to do a good job.
From all of us, please donate if you can and support our beautiful school! x
