The project is to improve the hoisting equipment, upgrade the decor and to provide sensory equipment e.g. a sound system, which can be used to improve the experience of the students.

The school has recently created a new post of Health Care Assistant to look after the personal requirements of the students with most complex needs. The changing areas at Ravenscliffe High School are currently sub-standard and do not provide a suitable environment for this work to take place.

The project is expected to greatly improve the quality of care for the students with the most complex needs.
