The Oxford Road CCA shop has just been taken over by a new experienced Manager who would like to improve the presentation of the shop and expand the support centre services currently on offer. His vision is to be able to build relationships with and offer support to the local community.

The shop is currently shabby and in desperate need of a re-vamp. This project would attract the attention of the local community and the media, and make the shop a much more pleasant place to shop in, seek support and volunteer in. It will create a new seating section where people can come in for support and a listening ear.

More people will come into the shop to: chat; purchase goods; build relationships with others (our shops are a local meeting place for the community) to use our new seating area to have a cup of tea and a chat; use our support centre to access furniture provision and get personal support, information and advice. More people will also want to volunteer at the shop, which will improve customer service. We will therefore be able to serve and support a lot more people.
