This project involves the removal of the surface of the outfield and then to cut and fill to take out the peaks and troughs that have appeared over the years. The whole field will then be reseeded. The aim is to even out the undulations in the field to provide a more even playing surface. In addition re-laying 4 new wickets.

To improve playing facilities to attract more players to the club to further develop the standard of cricket. The local school will also benefit as they use the ground for leisure activities including football & sports day events.

A much flatter playing surface, making it a lot safer for the playing of ball games and to also aid the schools in their sports activities (e.g. Running, football, cricket) Improving the quality of the wickets to enhance batting and bowling.
