The Bressingham Volunteer Society have undertaken to restore Gwynedd back into steam. This requires a substantial amount of work to be undertaken on the Steam Boiler in particular.
Why they need our serviceGwynedd is one of the oldest narrow gauge locomotives designed to provide the motive power for carrying slate. Since the late 1960's Gwynedd has been carryng passengers at Bressingham. Once Gwynedd is back in steam she will put to work carrying thousands of passengers every year.
Plan and expected resultsThe return of Gwynedd to steam will result in Bressinghams pair of Penryn Slate Quarry engines being back in service together, the first time for a decade.
