So I got a virtual tap on the shoulder asking if I fancied Tough Mudder. Having cracked the Men's Health challenge a couple of years back I thought this would be a similar challenge, and something that could inspire me to shift my ass into gear.
I also misinterpreted the details. I thought I heard my 'nudger' say it was a 12k assault course.
Of course when you assume kilometres and then discover, after signing up, it is twelve miles it is:
A) difficult to back out
B) beyond the realms of possibility that I either succeed or even survive given my unfit starting point.
But I will give it a go, and possibly die trying.
If that isn't worth a tenner then what the hell is?!
