Swim a Marathon

Active Fakenham's Richard Crook is planning to swim a marathon in November to support First Focus Fakenham and Active Fakenham. This will be a big challenge for him. Richard said, “I am, for the first time, doing a sponsored something. This is for a couple of reasons. First it’s for two good causes and second because I am going into hospital soonish for an operation (new hip) and I need to get a bit fitter, so this challenge will be an added incentive. It is 26 miles 385 yards (42.195 Km), or 1688 lengths of the 25m pool. I will be doing this over a month in November.
