- I will be running the Virgin London marathon for the National Deaf Children’s Society on Sunday 4th October. I’ll be running a marathon either at Woburn Centre Parks on Sunday 4th October.. likely start 5am, hopeful finish around 10am.
- Little Henry Winston has touched everyone’s hearts with his journey to hearing and inspired so many people, to do more.
- My own son, Teddy, shares part of his name (he is Teddy Henry Winston) and was born 6 months after Henry with perfect hearing. Strangely this has made watching Henry’s journey all the more fascinating and inspiring. So when I got a ballot place for this years London Marathon the choice was simple.
- I am pleased to be able to do something to help children born either completely or partially deaf and their parents to communicate or to hear through technology and I am looking forward to the challenge of the training over the next few weeks as I attempt to get back in marathon shape for my first marathon since 2016
- A huge thank you from Henry,Kayleigh & Adam. Here’s their video to show why the NDCS is so important to families like theirs and children like Henry
