The Tesco Team at Unilever are taking on a 24 hour challenge, 66km, walking through the night in order to raise money for charity. It is sure to be intense and grueling experience, anyone who has completed a marathon would know that you wouldn't want to keep going!
The 16 of us are sure to get to know each other pretty well with limited entertainment and toilet breaks along the way!!
We will be supporting The Reasons Why Foundation, an organistaion that works with youg people and look at the causes and effects of attitude, behaviour and actions, highlighting potential areas of harmful/negative impact on youth development.
Their programme helps young people to find their way in life, rejoining communities that their have not felt a part of before. With the skills and resources acquired from working with the RWF they learn to be positive role models to others and contributory members of their communities. They also help communities to better understand their young people, through information and experience sharing at our community celebration events.
We hope to raise £500, please support us in our challenge.
