Riverview Law are very excited to be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, in order to fundraise for our chosen charity of the year; Charlotte's Brightside.
A group of 10 of our employees, and some of their family members will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge the weekend of Friday 14th August 2015.
The challenge takes place on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, and should be completed in under 12 hours!! The walk covers a distance of 42 km (26.1 mi) and takes in over 5,000 feet (1,600 metres) of climbing over a variety of terrains.
Riverview Law’s aim is to reach a set target of £1000 in order for us to support Charlotte's Brightside in all the hard work they do.
Charlotte's Brightside is a family run charity based in New Brighton, Wirral. The charity was founded in memory of Charlotte Churchill, who died tragically in a car accident. The aims of the charity are to advance and relieve the needs of young people through: provision of recreational and leisure activities and to provide support and activities which develop their skills and capabilities. The charity successfully engages young people within the centre, gives them opportunities to gain new experiences, a safe place to 'hang out,' reduces anti-social behaviour, offers school holiday activities and works in partnership with local charities and enterprises to benefit the community.
We would massively appreciate any donations you could possibly give & we wish our 10 challengers all the best of luck!
Thank you for all of your support and donations.
