Rock N Roll Madrid - Running for SLOW

On 23rd April 2017 Ellen, Carolyn and I are completing the 'Rock N Roll' half marathon in Madrid. We have self funded the trip and felt that it would be appropriate to fundraise for a worthwhile cause. Those of you who know us will be aware that we have come together through running, not for fun, but to fundraise for the Royal Marsden. Through this we have raised a lot, developed great friendships, gained fitness and even started to enjoy it. This is Ellen's first half marathon and we are incredibly proud of her (and ourselves).We have been busy training but have a lot left to do and not much time. As a group we decided that Ellen should nominate the charity that we fundraise for and she has chosen the wonderful SLOW. SLOW is a North London charity - supporting bereaved parents, it is there for everyone who's lost a child. It is a small charity and relies on donations to be able to continue its amazing work.
