London Triathlon (replacing Escape from Alcatraz)

As most of you are aware, I’d signed up to do the Escape from Alcatraz 2017 and undertook a good few months of training. Unfortunately as we sat on the boat with our wetsuits on ready to go it was announced that due to very strong currents and concerns for the safety of all of the participants, this was cancelled. However, I will be participating in the London Triathlon on the 22nd of July which I intended to do to raise money for our chosen charity - Brickmakers Wood in which case, anyone who donated to see me do the Escape from Alcatraz and does not mind this being transferred to this upcoming event, I will carry on with my fundraising efforts!
