In what I can only describe as a complete moment of insanity,I signed up to take part in the Madrid Half Marathon 27th April 2014. I've never turned down a challenge.... yet and I'm not about to start now. However this is more than just a personal challenge this is about raising money for an organisation that is very close to my family's heart. Hug in a Bag have been a fantastic support network in my aunty's battle with Breast cancer. Providing Help Understanding and Glamour (HUG) to anyone diagnosed with breast cancer in their local hospital by providing a pamper bag or appropriate gift (for men). The bags are distributed at an appropriate point in the treatment cycle by the breast care nurses.Hug in a Bag is now recognised as part of the after-care service for breast cancer patients. So please give what you can so that this wonderful organisaton can continue giving those affected, the practical, financial and emotional support in the fight against cancer. As well as supporting Hug in a Bag I'm also hoping to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
