The Principle Trust Children's Charity are taking on the Dragon Boat Race challenge again this year at The Coniston Hotel on Sunday 15th May. Defending their honour and fueled by adrenaline the team comprising of many local businesses - Principle Healthcare, Fowlds Cooke copywriting, Rachel's Made to Measure, WS Stoneworks, Greenholme Carpets and Flooring, Honeylegal as well as Matt Thomas, Calum McDade, Liam Gaunt and Michael Dalton, Catrina Otway, are all fundraising in aid of the Yorkshire based charity - The Principle Trust Children's Charity. We have also enlisted the support (and muscles!) of the British Army aka local adventurer Craig Outhwaite!

Established in 2011 by Mike Davies, MBE, The Principle Trust Children’s Charity serves families throughout Yorkshire, providing free respite holidays to children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse. Between 2011 and 2021, The Trust provided free holidays to 4100 children (3730 underprivileged/ disadvantaged and 370 disabled). The Trust owns and operates six holiday homes; 2 in the Lake District, 3 near Blackpool and one in the Ribble Valley.

The Trust’s 100% donations policy ensures every penny raised directly benefits children and their families.

Thanks for all your support and donations. Together, we can make memories that last.
