Team Fundraisers
My cricket club was recently devasted by the Boxing Day floods affecting the Calder Valley.
The club plays an important part of the community running 3 senior teams and a thriving junior section.
The club is a massive part of mine and my family’s life and I have spent pretty much every weekend of the summer there since a young boy and tradition that is continuing for another generation now that I have children of my own.
I am taking part in a sponsored 13 mile walk on Sunday 7th February taking in a number of Halifax League Clubs in order to raise money. There are also many other fundraising activities planned.
It’s going to take an enormous amount of effort and resource to get us back on our feet so any donations would be greatly appreciated.
