I have never run any great distances before, so in a moment of madness I am running the Half Marathon on 29th May!
I'm running for Play Therapy Base, an amazing charity based in Midlothian providing a Play Therapy service to the children and local families.
Play Therapy is a therapy for children with a variety of emotional and behavioural issues, it enables children to communicate what they think and feel in ways they feel comfortable. Significant support and understanding is given to parents, carers, schools and other professionals to think about how we can help struggling children.
This charity is headed by Helen and Linda who are dedicated, thoughtful, have years of experience working with children, and are always putting in more and more to make the Play Therapy Base a continuing asset to the local area.
Please help me help them continue with their amazing work!
