Run The Joules 24-Hour Relay Challenge

Run The Joules are a local running community based in Sale. Before the lockdown we ran together every Monday night at 18:30, but since March 2020 we've been doing virtual events.

We celebrate what would have been our 50th run on 15th June and are celebrating with a 24-hour relay challenge in aid of Trafford South Foodbank. Another fantastic running community in Sale, MileShyClub, have arranged some amazing charity virtual relay races during the last few months, and we're following their lead. One of our runners will start running at 18:30 on Monday 15th June 2020 and will continue in a relay style until 18:30 on Tuesday 16th June 2020 when 31 runners will have done their allocated time. We'll run through the evening, night, morning and afternoon.

Trafford South Foodbank don't think anyone in the community should have to face going hungry. They provide three days or nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks,supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. Run The Joules are proud to help in their efforts.
