Running Around Hackney for Made in Hackney
I am running the Hackney Half Marathon on 26th September to raise money for Made in Hackney, a vegan community cooking school that brings together diverse communities where people can learn how to feed the growing population in an ethical and environmentally sustainable way.
As we all know the world is on the brink of collapse (alas) and the handful of multi-billionaires that could really make a difference care more about their wallets than the future of the planet, so it’s up to us to do our bit. Raising money for a local charity that is working towards lowering greenhouse emissions whilst enhancing social cohesion feels like the right thing to do.
