I (stupidly) agreed to run my first ever marathon with my friend Rachel..
Eeek.
I am running the Manchester Marathon to raise money for an incredible charity Oasis Aquila Housing, who have projects in Gateshead and London, providing an amazing service for homeless people in a caring, supporting and empowering way. I spent my summer volunteering at one of their projects in Gateshead, Basis@336, and was so inspired by the staff and service users there. So much so, that I knew when I signed up for this ridiculous run that they would have to be the charity that I would raise money for, as they are doing such incredible work. They have an individual, personal, holistic approach to helping out their service users and I am so inspired by the organization. So please help me raise some dollar for them!!
