This year, I am running the Virgin London Marathon 2014 for 'CAUSE YOU CAN, a charity that supports children's education and well-being in a totally unique way! Through teamwork and the regular practice of Performing arts taught by CYC, children learn to develop leadership, social and communication skills, as well as artistic talents and abilities. They then have an opportunity to show what they've learned and enjoyed by performing live in their schools, to the delight of their friends, teachers and families. More at: www.causeyou.org.uk.
Through the great work that 'CAUSE YOU CAN is doing, I have observed how increased confidence gained through self-expression, creativity and performance has helped many children becoming more confident in other areas of life, such as relationships, home life and academic attainment.
