After appearing on the Inspire https://localgiving.org/charity/inspirepeterborough/ radio show on 5th August, I was really impressed with the work they do and wanted to do something to raise funds for them. Medically, I can't sky dive and physically I can't run a marathon so I wanted to do something different.
A week later on holiday I saw the roller coaster ride Odyssey and walked past! It's ridiculous! Whilst walking round the theme park it hit me how inaccessible most of the rides were for anyone with disabilities and it occurred to me that I had a choice to walk past the Odysessy and many didn't.
I therefore decided to get sponsored to go on it with lots of friends pledging money for me to do it!
I did it on Sunday 14th August and ended up doing it twice because my Dad couldn't get a photo of me the first time! It was terrifying and everything I imagined it to be and worse!
