Crocus Child Bereavement Support Service are a local Inverness charity providing support to recently bereaved children.
They provide opportunities to meet other bereaved children; give the child the opportunity to accept the reality of death; educate children about the grief process; guide them through the different feelings which children may experience; and facilitate the child's understanding about what has happened.
On at 6pm on 29 October I will run (and walk!) in the Illuminator Half Marathon, a 15 mile trail through Aberdeenshire countryside in the dark, taking in around 2000 feet of ascent and descent.
Any sponsorship money received will be donated to Crocus Group in support of the fantastically valuable work they are doing in support of bereaved children.
