Sam and Matt are getting active this May for Flamingo Chicks...

DONATIONS DOUBLED
Thanks to support from the CriSeren Foundation your donations to our May 100 challenge will be DOUBLED! Every little helps, and we are so grateful for your support.

OUR CHALLENGE
We'll be walking 16 miles each to cover the 'Brontë Leg' (Hebden Bridge to Lothersdale) of the Land's End to John O'Groats Flamingo Flock relay. Photos of beautiful countryside and silly dance moves on the hills to come your way shortly!

Plus we'll be getting creative at home - our house has 3 flights of stairs so we'll be doing a minimum of 100 flights each before the end of May. We're also open to other creative ways to get moving at home - want to set us a challenge? Send us your ideas! 😃

WHY
Following a tough year with extended periods of isolation and social distancing it is more important than ever to get active and look after our physical and mental health. Sadly, isolation and inactivity are on the rise in our community with almost 50% of disabled people experiencing worsening mental health following the pandemic.

With the money you raise, you’ll be helping fund Flamingo Chicks’ ground-breaking work in inclusivity, breaking down barriers so that disabled children and their families enjoy the right to access services, support and opportunities to reach their full potential.

Flamingo Chicks' inclusive programmes change lives, championing the voices of disabled children, tackling increasing social isolation and fighting for a fairer society, but we need to reach more children – that’s where you come in.

Thank you!
