Since I was very small I have watched people running the Bath Half Marathon, we would sit on the wall by my house and cheer them as they go by all the while thinking I can't do that....
But this year that'll be me!
And my twin brother Mark as well...
Who will be quicker? And by how long?

I am running in support of a local charity project personal to me in Oxford. The Open Doors project is run by the church I am part of, Wesley Memorial Methodist Church and seeks to refresh the church premises to be able to offer a greater welcome to the community and serve the city of Oxford better.

Part of your donation will also go to Christian Aid's work in Burkina Faso as part of looking to the world as well as to the UK.

So far I've happily run 12 kilometres (Four sevenths of the total distance for those keeping track) but the rest will be new to me- and my legs!
