Team Fundraisers
SVC is a wonderful charity that runs a number of projects in and around Cardiff. Their projects aim to support older people, adults and children with disabilities, homeless people, adults with mental health conditions and young carers.
For the past year, I've been a lead volunteer on one of their projects called Weekenders. On this project, we take young carers out for the day and give them the opportunity to have a well needed break and the chance to just be kids for the day! Through this I have seen first hand the great work that SVC does and how it benefits the local community and this is why I've decided to do a little fundraising of my own!
On the 1st of October, I will be putting on my running gear and challenging myself to complete the Cardiff Half Marathon. This is a big challenge as I'm not much of a runner!
