Earlier this year my housemate Alex and I, in a decision we have probably both regretted multiple times since, signed up to run the Nottingham half marathon this September.
I'm running to raise money for Touchstones Support, a fantastic organisation set up by my Mum to provide free bereavement counselling to children who have lost close relatives. It's only a small organisation but they do brilliant work, helping children come to terms with their loss and transforming children's lives whose grief can otherwise lead to problems at school/with the police etc.
It would be fantastic if you felt able to sponsor me - every pound really helps, and it will hopefully help spur me on as I try to motivate myself to keep training!
Thanks for your support,
Sam
PS - Alex is raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. If you'd like to donate to him his fundraising page is http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/AlexanderYule
