After a long break from running, I'm running the Reading Half Marathon to raise funds for Wokingham charity, First Days. First Days reduces the long term effect of poverty on children by equipping them with the essential items they need for their early years and at school. With the effects of Covid, the removal of the £20 per week universal credit, increased energy prices, increase in national insurance and the general increase in the cost of living, more and more families rely on the amazing work First Days do.
