Team Fundraisers
On the 8th July I will attempt a massive challenge with 5 of my closest school friends: we are all nearly 40 and between us have 8 children and are perhaps all having a mini mid-life crisis! We are attempting a sprint triathlon. As most of you know I'm not the fittest..... more wine and parties than exercise but this triathlon challenge has changed my life! At Christmas I couldn't run to the end of the street, I can now run 5k easily and I own a bike and have started cycling to work: this really is a year of firsts for me!!
While not a big famous charity I wanted to raise money for my most favourite little man: Freddie. Last year along with a team of incredible mums I helped raise 18k for his school; this year with a new job there hasn't been much time for fundraising so I'm hoping that you all might support me a bit in helping me raise some much needed funds for sports equipment at Freddie's school: the wonderful Floreat Wandsworth. The school is nearly 2 years old and whilst flourishing is still missing a lot of things that most children in state schools take for granted.
