SERV answers over 1,000 emergency calls each and every year. All SERV riders, drivers and volunteers receive no payment whatsoever for providing this service, not even expenses!
The charity relies wholly on its own fundraising and donations to sustain this vital service
1 in 10 patients in hospital require blood! - This is where we come in and help.
SERV is a registered charity, formed in 1981 that delivers Blood and Blood products, to Hospitals in the South East free of any charges. SERV volunteers are on call from 7pm till 6am 365 nights a year. The riders deliver Emergency Blood Products from the National Blood Transfusion Units to hospitals in the South East of England.
