BLYM is a great organisation. It provides sailing facilities and courses for young people at minimum cost, and is run entirely by volunteers. Many school, scout, and other local groups use it. The people are helpful, pleasant, and knowledgable. With about 100 boats available for hire, from oppies and picos to lasers and vagos, the facilities are excellent. The only problem is the building, which is small, old, and in poor condition.
New buildings are planned, and have been designed! For details, visit:

Over £1 million has been raised, but there is still £300,000 to go.
St. George's School Sailing Club sails at BLYM every week during the Summer term and the first half of the Autumn term, and we want to do our bit to raise the remaing funds. We have set ourselves a target or reaching or exceeding £2500. Fundraising will continue over the summer and into the Autumn term, and an Auction of Promises is planned for the Laying Up Supper. Please give generously.
