Hi everyone,
As some of you may know, I had the crazy idea to trek the Indian Himalayas this November in order to raise money for The Whitehouse - a cancer support charity based in Dudley. This is a crazy idea because I'll be trekking just under 70 kilometres, across some of the toughest terrain and camping in basic shelters along the way. Please can you help me reach my fundraising goal, support this incredibly worthwhile charity and give me some much needed encouragement to tackle those terrifying mountains.
This isn't the first time I've done something this (as my daughter puts it) out of character; in 2001 I successfully trekked the Great Wall of China for charity...but that is nothing compared to what I am about to undertake this time around.
I have self-funded this challenge so all donations will be greatly appreciated - and please wish me luck!
