I am no runner. I have no desire to ever run a marathon, but when team Riff Raff come a calling full of love and positivity you have no choice but to agree (well, after a wine or two!). Right now, local mum Hayley has been dealt a rough deal and needs our support. .
The Riff Raff cannot cure cancer (yet) or take away the pain it leaves behind, but they can show solidarity and try to bring some sunshine - that's why I've joined the 'Girl Power Mum Squad' to support a fellow Urmstonian mum facing the toughest challenge of all.
Hayley Saunders unexpectedly lost her partner Rob to ill health last year and this year she has been embroiled in a Cancer battle of her own.
Us Riff Raff ladies are forming 'Team Wonder Woman' and we will be lighting up the marathon course on April 7th in a bid to raise enough money to send Hayley and her support team on an unforgettable holiday.
