The SHOOT project is a series of outreach sports sessions delivered by a multi skilled team of qualified Youth Workers, Sports Coaches and Volunteers to delivering 45 x 2 hour on local recreation grounds and Multi use games areas in the local villages. A 'skills learned' showcase event will be held in the form of a inter youth club tournament annually. We are aiming to offer a variety of different volunteering opportunities to 20+ young people of the local communities.
Why they need our serviceTo challenge anti social behaviour using sport as a diversionary activity. Rural communities suffer from vandalism, anti social behaviour, substance misuse and other minor related crimes. SHOOT offers young people to participate in informal games of football, basketball and Dodgeball, working with trained sports coaches and youth workers.
