Dawn Fairweather is a kind, loving, emotional, compassionate and obviously very noisy individual. What I mean by that is Dawn has a lot of spirit.
Dawn is marvellous woman and a very good egg. Dawn has previously gone above and beyond when it comes to supporting local charities she believes in.
Last year Dawn took the very brave big decision to shave her head to raise much needed funds cash in aid of a local mum facing terminal illness.
Dawn recently approached me asking if there was anything she could do to help raise money for ‘The Casey Westwood appeal’.
This led to speculation about what Dawn would shave next. Dawn decided to keep her hairy bits and because she isn’t a natural athlete the Ironman Triathlon was out of the question so we were stuck for a fundraising activity for dawn to commit to.
So we decided to ask some of our Virgin Trains colleagues for suggestions. Kris Keogh (Railway Genius) struck gold when he suggested ‘doing us all a favour!’ and banning Dawn from talking for a day.
Dawn is a kind, lovely, bubbly, loud, noisy, goby, boisterous, chatterbox, motor-mouth bundle of energy.
So we all know how much of a challenge this will be for our beloved Dawn.
The challenge we are presenting Dawn with is from booking on to booking off unless we face an emergency situation on the Railway Dawn will work in complete silence.
All Funds will go towards providing life changing car, wheelchair & home equipment for Casey Westwood. Full details are available on The Riff Raff Society’s Website www.theriffraffsociety.org
