2020 has been a testing time for everyone, some more than others, which is why Simon Jehu of the Jehu Group is swapping his highly polish brogues for his walking boots in aid of Carers Trust Wales!
This year Jehu have seen the postponement of their Charity band night, golf day and triathlon, plus the London Marathon which Simon was due to take part in. So Simon and a few partners are coming together on Sunday 4th Oct to complete a 26.2mile walk around Cardiff (Safely following COVID rules).
About Our Charity Partner Carers Trust Wales aims to shape a better future with and for carers in Wales by raising awareness, empowering carers and influencing change.
They work closely and collaboratively with their Network Partners – local and regional independent charities which deliver information, advice and practical support for unpaid carers in Wales.
Last year the Network Partners reached more than 36,000 carers in Wales
There are at least 370,000 carers in Wales (which is 10% more than the population of Cardiff) and that three in five of us will become a carer at some point in our lives.
Carers Trust Wales is committed to making sure that all carers receive the recognition and support they deserve.
