Sunny Govan Radio is currently off air due to bad weather damaging vital equipment. Without the station broadcasting it is difficult to continue the amazing community work that Sunny G does - allowing people a voice, using music, chat and discussion as a tool to bring people together and make Glasgow a sunnier place to be.
I am a volunteer DJ at Sunny Govan and a performance poet looking to raise £500 to contribute to the costs of new equipment to get the radio back on air and online to reach new audiences at home and abroad and continue spreading the messages of the people locally and further afield.
For a donation of £1 you can choose one word to be included in a mammoth poem which I will perform live on radio, at events across Scotland and record with killer beats and sound effects.
