The Sing for Freedom Choir is a community of torture survivors and friends who sing together in a spirit of hope, joy, and solidarity with all those who are oppressed. The choir gives voice to those who have been silenced - singing for freedom and connection.

Bringing together displaced people and Londoners from all backgrounds, the choir offers a joyful, supportive community rooted in music. It has performed at Milton Court (Barbican), the Southbank Chorus Festival, Tilbury Carnival, GLA Scoop, Union Chapel, and more—moving audiences with powerful, life-affirming performances.

BECOME A FRIEND
Support Sing for Freedom with a monthly or one-off donation. Your gift helps ensure those who couldn't otherwise access the choir can take part and supports our mission to raise awareness and build community through music.

MEMBERS
Membership is free for those with Refugee or Asylum Seeker status, and travel support is available for those who need it.

If you’re able, we invite members to make a termly donation to help cover costs such as venue hire, music, staffing, materials, and production. All contributions go directly into running the choir.

We also welcome donations to our bursary fund, which supports free or subsidised places for others. You can contribute as part of your termly gift or via a regular monthly donation.

No one should be excluded from singing for freedom. Speak to us in confidence if cost is a barrier.

Thank you for raising your voice in solidarity! Together, we can keep changing the world through music and connection.
