The Sing for Freedom Choir is a community of torture survivors and friends who sing together in a spirit of joy and hope, in solidarity with all those who are oppressed. The choir sings for Freedom, and to give back a voice to those who have been silenced. Founded by survivors from the charity Freedom From Torture, the choir unites displaced people with others from across London who join to sing in solidarity with them, offering members a joyful community of friendship founded in music, and delighting audiences with unique and life-enhancing performances. The choir has performed at Milton Court in the Barbican, at the Southbank Chorus festival, at the Tilbury Carnival, the GLA Scoop and Union Chapel, amongst others.

If you would like to support Sing for Freedom, you can make a monthly or one-off donation via this page. Your support goes directly to ensuring that those who would not otherwise be able to access the choir can do so, and to enabling the choir to take part in continue its mission to raise awareness and bring people together through music.
MEMBERS:
Membership of the choir is free for those with Refugee / Asylum Seeker status. We offer a contribution towards travel expenses for those who could not participate otherwise.
Together Productions invites members of Sing for Freedom who can afford to pay to make a termly donation to help cover our core costs. This helps to cover the running costs of the choir including producing materials, purchasing music, paying our musical director and management staff, editing and producing videos, venue hire, insurance and publicity. All funds are paid back directly into the running of SFF. Donations are essential to keep SFF going. Sing for Freedom aims to be an inclusive group and we do not want financial circumstances to prevent anyone from taking part, please speak to us if a donation is not possible for you.
We know that we also have choir members whose financial position is more stable and who would like to do what they can to help. We welcome any contribution you are able to make to support others to participate in the choir. We have a concessions/bursary fund and anyone who wishes can include a donation to the fund to cover the cost of someone else participating on a free or subsidised place. To do this, you can either choose to give more as part of your termly donation, or make a monthly contribution to support the work of the organisation.
