Becca has kindly agreed to run alongside Charlotte for this year's Cardiff Half Marathon in order to raising money for the fantastic organisation where Charlotte works.
Student Volunteering Cardiff (SVC) is an independent charity run by students studying within the City of Cardiff. Our dedicated volunteers are involved in a variety of different volunteering projects in and around the city, working with older people, disadvantaged children and young people, people with mental health conditions, homeless people and adults with disabilities.
SVC's projects aim to enhance the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the community, as well as promoting the development of opportunities and choices for our beneficiaries and volunteers.
Your kind donations will help SVC to continue the wonderful work and support they already do!
This will be Becca's third half marathon, she is also running the Bristol half two weeks before the Cardiff one. Charlotte on the other hand is returning to running after completing her first half (and only half marathon) over 8 years ago! To make sure we're fully prepared we have our chief coach Emma who is overseeing training and cheering us on on the day!
