On 4th March 2022 I am taking part in a 'Sleep Out' for Nugent, sponsored by Krol Corlett Construction.
No matter the weather, I will be sleeping outside at the iconic Strawberry Field, in order to raise awareness and vital funds for Nugent's New Beginnings- a homelessness scheme. Homelessness is a real and growing issue in Merseyside and beyond, and people sleeping rough in England has more than doubled in recent years.
We will be sleeping outside in order to experience just a fraction of the challenges of what it is like to sleep rough for just one night. All money I raise will be used to provide support packages for those who have been suffering from, or are at risk of, homelessness who are transitioning into accommodation and have support needs. It will provide the basic essentials we often take for granted, such as pots, pans, towels, sheets etc.
Nugent are working in collaboration with The Salvation Army who and Strawberry Field who are raising funds for their Steps to Work programme.
