UPDATE AS OF 19/12/2025: WE'VE DONE IT! Thank you so much! Everyone from individual donors to whole offices have chipped in, and that's not even counting the people who've given astonishing amounts of food. Thank you so much to everyone who's helped us this year! We ran the campaign across this dedicated fundraiser and the Smethwick Foodbank fundraiser - we've totalled up both, and we've made it! This year, we've fed 11,000 local people in crisis. Over 3,600 children have received emergency food. Donors have helped us provide urgently needed toiletries and period products, as well as helping clients find financial advice, energy resources, bereavement support and housing support – all because they came in for a food parcel.

Winter is the hardest time of year for vulnerable people. Heating and utility bills soar. Food prices rise. Sadly, this year has also been tougher than ever for many foodbanks. We’re no exception - we’re running urgently low on money to buy food. But our time as a charity has taught us communities can do incredible things when they pull together.

With donors' help, we’ve given 4902 packs this year so far. Now we’re asking for your help with just a few more. 

Can you help us give 200 food parcels for Christmas? 

Our average single food parcel costs £9.53. If 200 people gave £10, our goal would be complete.

(A single parcel costs £9.52, or £11.89 if we also give toiletries. As an average, we're defining £10 as one single-person food parcel; this covers the food expenses. All money raised from this appeal will go to food stock for Smethwick Foodbank.)
