Off and on for about 30 years I've running, including a few half marathons and a couple of full ones. Just for fun you understand.
Over the last 12 months I've got to know of a small local Charity called Charlotte's Brightside based in New Brighton. As is the case with many small Charities, they are always in need of support, both financial and with peoples time.
My youngest daughter attended a cookery course at the Centre, and really enjoyed and benefited from doing so.
So this year I decided to run another Marathon, something I swore I would never do!
This decision made, it was then just such an obvious choice of Charity to attempt to raise some funds for.
Just to make things more interesting, I've chosen and entered the hardest road marathon in the UK, the SNOWDON MARATHON on 29th October 2016.
All the entry fees, travelling and accommodation costs are paid by me, so every penny donated goes to Charlotte's Brightside, all I'm doing is the leg work, and plenty of it!
