SPINKS IN SPANDEX | RING OF FIRE 2023 - NORFOLK AND CHANCE

250 Miles, 100+ ROF Cyclists, 5th Annual ROF fundraising event, 1 person asking you for a donation...

Yes, you've heard me correctly, I'll be saddling up for another year to take part Milton Keynes Rugby Club's annual fundraising challenge; the infamous Ring of Fire bike ride.

This year's ride may be slightly less of a distance than previous, but the effort, planning, training and desire to raise as much money as possible is bigger than ever. This year, MKRUFC's ROF ride is partnering with Willen Hospice, end of life palliative care centre based in Milton Keynes and Ed Slater/ Gloucester Rugby Club's 4ED Campaign, raising awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Safe to say, there are many, many reasons to support this cause - not only to show your support for some very deserving charities, but also to see and hear about my latest lycra-clad adventure on top of a bicycle.

How can you help?

That's simple - you can donate to this page, share this page with your friends and do it again, and again and again...

Some information about this year's event:

Based at the Goat Inn at Skeyton , ancestral home in the mid 19th century of the Spinks family, we will cycle three loops across the weekend. The Friday Fifty, up to the coast near Cley-next-the-Sea, along to Sheringham and back to Skeyton. Saturday 20th we embark on the Norwich 100 loop taking in the rugby clubs around Norwich and back to Skeyton. Then to top it all off we have the 'hangover' Sunday Challenge to conclude the weekend. This last challenge will take us to the East Norfolk Coast. A compact 250 miles over 2.5 days.  Overnight camping at the CC Camp grounds at the Goat Inn Skeyton, in between loops.
