Star Academy' is a project for music workshops that will be integrated with confidence building sessions for over 10 week period for 4 hours very Saturday beginning 28th September 2013 for 15 young people aged 13-19.

Personal development training is incorporated within the workshops whereby young people have opportunity to take stock of the strength, their values and beliefs and transform their lives such that such that they become employable, plan a new career or action or adopt a new behaviour. From music they will gain an eclectic range of skills that are pertinent to social and personal development which are sought by employers. The community will benefit from the transformed lives of young people.

20 young people will have learned how to communicate their needs and requests with confidence. They will develop strategies to improve their self esteem, confidence and independence. They will set personal goals for future development.
