Sunny G Community Radio volunteers led by Steg G will be cycling 30 miles from Govan to Loch Lomond on Saturday 20th June to raise money towards our micro college, here at the Sunny G Community Radio Studios. We are raising money to support 40 local young people in a community based setting enabling them to access a safe and supportive environment and to deliver training of the following courses:
Energy and the Individual - Course on Energy Efficiency, Re-cycling, Waste reduction
Employment FM - This course is aimed at young people who for a number of reasons have to overcome several barriers to fully participate in training and employment opportunities.
Monies raised enables us to continue to broadcast 24 hours x 7 days per week broadcasting a range of radio programmes as diverse as the presenters and reflective of the community we serve - giving a "voice" to people who are seldom heard
